"We'll just have to see." Blake said.  His father came to collect him and he followed.  He was dressed in red and gold robes and large shoulder armaments that held a long cloak in place.

Noel smiled as she saw her beloved. "I told you...you look absolutely stunning." Then she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw his aunt and mom with icy roses. She smiled and then she saw her beloved's father waiting for them. She smiled as she wrapped her arm around his. "Ready my beloved Firebird?"

"As ready as I'll ever be." Blake replied.  He linked his arm with hers and smiled.  Together, they walked towards his family.

As they reached her newfound family she felt so happy. Her eyes sparkled as she locked into Blake's. When they faced eachother her beloved's father looked at her "your vows..." Noel smiled. "I Noel Frost promise to love honor respect and cherish. I love you Blake with my whole heart. I'll be forever faithful and protect you no matter what...and if that means dying to protect you or your family I'll accept that..."

"And I promise to love, honor, and cherish you for all our days and beyond.  I will always love and protect you, with my life if need be." Blake told her, reciting his vows.

As they had their rings on; Noel looked at her beloved's father and he smiled. "You may kiss you two..." Noel smiled as she wrapped her hands around Blake's waist and kissed him passionately as her flowers fell and her foot rose up from her dress.

Blake returned the kiss.  His hands mingled with her hair.  This kiss was like nothing he'd ever felt in his life.

The kiss they were sharing was connecting them closer together. She smiled as she pulled away for a breath and then went again for another kiss. This relationship now newlyweds was like magic. She caressed his cheeks as the second kiss felt more magical then the first one. "My beloved Blake..."

"Noel, my darling.  I love you." Blake murmured against her lips.  He'd never felt so at peace than he did with her here.

Noel blushed and smiled. "As I love you my beloved Firebird...I'll be yours forever and be by your side for all time..." she kissed his cheek as they were guided to the castle she now with Blake and his family. She called home.

It was the best day of Blake's life.  Having found the girl of his dreams, and taking her home was something he never thought would happen.  But now, they were going to share a life together.
"My home is your home." he said to Noel, proud that he could finally say that.

Noel smiled as they walked in. She was in awe. She gasped at all the beautiful artwork. She smiled as she looked at all of them but one caught her emerald green eyes. A young girl that looked like her. A lot like her. She looked at Blake. "She looks like me...so did you know about this?"

"Not really.  I always asked my father about this picture.  The one thing he said was that this woman was important, though he didn't say what about her was important.  When I first saw you, I wondered if you were related to her." Blake answered her.

Noel knew Blake was telling the truth. But something inside her was inching to know who this girl was. Then Noel had a hunch. She pulled up her sleeve a bit to see her birthmark of an ice diamond she looked at the girl's wrist and gasped. The girl of the painting was her. It was like everyone but Blake knew about her arrival.

"Noel, what is it dear?" Blake asked her.  He was a little concerned by this behavior.  What had caused this sudden shock?

Noel was trying to get ahold of herself. She inhaled and exhaled. She locked her eyes with his. She showed him the birthmarks of her and the painting. "She's me...it's like your family knew I was coming before..." she said before anything else came out and she passed out.

"What?  How is that possible?  How is it that everyone knows that you would be coming here, except me?" Blake asked, babbling in his shock.

Noel was still in a mind of shock. Then all of a sudden a book fell at Blake's feet. It dropped to a page about a firebird prince and an ice gifted girl falling in love despite their elements and it showed Noel's picture. It was a magic book.

Blake looked at the page, amazed.  He and Noel were meant to meet and be together?  It was a little comforting to know that, but his family known this and kept it from him.
"Why would they not tell me about this?" he wondered out loud.

As Blake asked that question the pages flew to the sad ending. The Ice Princess would be with child and died at childbirth and months later the firebird prince would died of a broken heart and the ice-fire child would be by theirself.

"Oh, I see.  That explains so much." Blake said, his tone turning bitter.  Knowing that everyone had kept this from him made him feel cold inside.  He didn't regret having met Noel, but he hated secrets being kept from him.

Noel fluttered her eyes open when she came to. "My beloved Blake what's troubling my Firebird?" she got up and caressed his cheeks. "You seem upset..." she hugged him and kissed his cheeks.

"It's what's in that book.  I don't want to talk about it." Blake replied.  His head was resting in one hand as he tried to hold his anger at bay.

Noel noticed her beloved's anger and decided it'd be best to leave him alone. So she bowed. "I'll leave you alone my Blake...just know I'm always here for you and I love you." She placed an ice rose by him as she walked into a room found a place for her to lay down. She started to close her eyes and began dreaming.

Blake watched her go.  He wished he had never learned of this.  Ignorance was fleeting, but knowledge was eternal.  The Firebird's Child felt like he couldn't enjoy the most wonderful part of being married to Noel.  But, at least he had some time to enjoy with her.  So, he went to join her during her nap.
