"What a majestic animal," Alidia said,"Could I pet him?" Alidia held her hand out waiting for a sign of friendship. Alidia didn't look it in the eyes to show she was respectful.

Rahim stepped aside, guiding Sauris forward. The creature make a noise in warning, but kept calm with his master still near. So far, nothing bad had happened.
"Let him come to you." Rahim told Alidia, giving her tips. Sauris continued to approach her with caution. Then, he stretched his neck closer to let her pet his head.
"He likesss you." Rahim said to her, thoroughly impressed.

Alidia giggled. "I guess he does." She looked at the majestic animal with her eyes and he looked like he was smiling at her.

"You should be proud. Sssaurisss hasss never taken to anyone that easily, other than me. He mussst know there'sss sssomething ssspecial about you." Rahim complimented her. He moved to his mount's side and got into the saddle. After getting himself situated, he held a hand out to her.
"Need a hand?" he offered.

Alidia smiled. "Yes, please." She carried the basket on one arm as she grabbed Rahim's hand.

Rahim pulled Alidia onto the saddle with him. He could feel her behind him, getting herself comfortable. It wasn't long before he noticed her leaning against his back.
"Will you be able to hold on?" Rahim asked, wanting to be sure she was safe.

Alidia made the basket disappear and wrapped her hands around Rahim's stomach and rested her head on his back. "I'm ready when you are."

Rahim took the reins and urged Sauris into a run. The creature ran as fast as any ostrich and for just as long. He was enjoying the ride through the gardens as much as his master was. His master and the girl riding as a passenger.

Alidia smiled as she slowly let go of Rahim's back and lifted her hands in the air. She squealed with delight. Wind was in her hair & she was with Rahim. "I'm flying," she giggled.

Rahim looked back for a minute. He started to smile at Alidia's antics, but he didn't laugh. It wasn't that he didn't think it was funny, he did. But Muktars simply...did not laugh. They showed their amusement at something in other ways.
"You better not fall off. I don't want to have to sssee if you have any broken bonesss if you do." he warned her.

Alidia smiled as she wrapped her hands around Rahim's back again. "This is so much fun," Alidia smiled and placed her head on his shoulders. "Rahim, where should we have our picnic?"

Rahim started looking for a nice spot to stop so they could eat. He noticed a beautiful weeping willow not far away. The swaying leaves created a curtain on most sides, allowing for shade and just enough visibility. He tugged on the reins to get Sauris to stop and pointed to what he'd seen.
"What about that tree, right over there?" he suggested.

Alidia smiled. "It's prefect. I'll set up and you get Sauris all situated. I'm going to see if I could do it without magic."

Rahim helped Alidia off first and then dismounted himself. He kept hold of the reins as he lead Sauris up to the willow. He was about to tie the reins to a low hanging branch, when he noticed a number of mosquitoes buzzing around. With lightning speed, he caught each of them and fed them to Sauris. It still amazed him that his mount enjoyed eatting insects when he was so much bigger than he used to be. He finished securing the reins before leaning against the tree.

Alidia wanted everything to be prefect. So she made the basket appear and began setting everything out. And she loved the results.

"Very nicccely done." Rahim said as he sat beside her. He took one of the strawberries she had set out. He pulled out his Jambiya dagger, threw the fruit up, and made a swift motion with the dagger. The strawberry landed in his hand and showed that there were two halves.
"Care for one?" he asked, offering one half to Alidia.

Alidia was shocked but she smiled. "Sure,thank you." She went to grab it and they touched hands again. She felt a little lightheaded.

Rahim felt the electric charge when their hands touched again. It made his face heat up and his heart beat faster. If only he knew why she affected him that way. Alidia was certainly a great girl. She deserved a good man in her life after what that scumbag had done. As he ate his half of the fruit he offered her, he found himself wishing he could be that man.

Alidia pushed away a stray hair behind her ear. And her heart was beating like a drum. She looked at him with stars in her eyes and slightly leaned forward. She felt like her heart was taking over. And the funny thing was she didnt care.

Rahim was about to get a piece of bread. But as he looked up, he saw Alidia leaning closer to him. In a moment of panic, he nearly backed himself in the truck of the willow. However, another voice in his head was saying 'don't fight it.' He held up his hands and placed them on her shoulders, guiding her a little closer.

Alidia was a bit nervous, but when Rahim grabbed her shoulders that was it. Her heart did an overdrive. Closer their lips where she forgot all bout Oncie, Deanne and Jim. Her heart was telling that Rahim was the real deal. She hoped her cherry-flavored lipgloss wasn't a bother.

For a second, Rahim was still scared by how close Alidia was getting. The moment their lips met, that fear disappeared like dust in the wind. Slowly, his eyes slid shut and he wrapped his arms around her. The action pulled her closer to him. It felt like she fit perfectly against his body. He resolved to enjoy this for as long as it lasted.

Alidia couldnt breath but she didnt care. She wrapped her arms around Rahim's neck. This felt right. She took one of her hands down on his cheek.

Rahim felt his hand slide lower on her back. That electric shock he'd felt before seemed to run through his whole body. He started to wonder to himself. Could Alidia be...the one?

Alidia felt Rahim's hand on her back. She gasped with passion. She wrapped her legs around him.

"He is my soulmate." Alidia thought.
