Rahim grinned at her action. He picked her up only to place her in his lap. Once Alidia was secure in his hold, he held her over the the floor like he had been doing a Latin dance.
"You are ssso preciousss." he whispered before kissing her again.

Alidia blissfully sighed. "Oh my dear prince Rahim...."

"I love you." Rahim whispered. She was such a treasure to him. No one would ever mean more to him than she did.

She smiled and her eyes sparkled. "I love you too."

"I know you do, my princccessss." Rahim replied. As soulmates, he could tell how she felt. He could never doubt her.

Alidia kissed her beloved prince and rubbed her hands on his clothed covered chest. "Oh my beloved prince Rahim. Thy eyes are like portals that I can see thou's heart and it's golden like mine and its full of life." Alidia knew then that this was what Ariel and Jim had; now she had her own version of it.

Rahim smiled at her words. She was glad to have found him, and he was glad to have found her. Their future together looked more beautiful every time he tried to picture it.

Alidia snuggled to him. "Rahim could you sing our song?" she asked with her eyes closing.

"I might be able to." Rahim answered. He was sure he remembered how it went, just not if he was still able to sing it. Only one way for him to find out. He took a deep breath and started to sing.

Alidia smiled as she began drifting to sleep. "My dear Rahim, how I love you."

"I love you too, sssweetheart. Ssso much." Rahim told her, quietly. He didn't think he would still be able to sing, but he was glad to be proven wrong. He leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Rahim...you sounded like an angel..." Alidia said as she fell asleep.

Rahim felt tears threatening to fall from his eyes. It was the one thing he had never thought anyone would say to him. He smiled at her as he cradled her.
"Thank you, Alidia, my love. Thank you for giving me thisss gift." he murmured.

Alidia smiled as she began dreaming. Her and Rahim were in their castle, dancing and laughing. Then all of a sudden he showed, Pitch Black.


"Well....Miss Alidia Sahib....an honor...." he said in his bone chilling voice as he bowed. "I think a song is in order..."



I began to shiver....

Rahim lay her head in his lap. He placed his hand on her head, enjoying the touch of her skin. With him near, Alidia would have nothing to worry about.
"I love you, Alidia. Nothing will ever change that. Nothing will harm if I have anything to sssay about it." Rahim told her, cradling her head close to his heart.

In the dream, Alidia wanted to fight but she was weak. "Rahim, help me..." she thought in her subconscious "Pitch Black..." then she was interrupted when he whipped out his dark sand whips. She screamed as he hit her beloved prince in her dream. She ran to him. "No!!!" she screamed as she comforted him in her lap. Pitch laughed. "My dear Alidia, why don't you fight me?" "Because...I am not a fighter..." Pitch chuckled "Awww how sweet...but unfortunately I don't do sweet..." he grabbed her with his whips. She tried wiggling out of them but she couldn't.

'Rahim, help me. Pitch Black.' That was what Rahim heard in the back of his mind. If his theory was correct, he might be able to connect with her dream if he went to sleep right now. He lay own, entered a state of meditation, and fell into a deep sleep. He found Alidia alright, being menaced by a strange man in black.
Rahim came up behind him. When he came close enough, he grabbed the man's shoulder. No point in being over the top...yet.

Alidia smiled. "Rahim..." Pitch looked at her real beloved and wickedly grinned. "So you're Rahim... the real Rahim..." he began flicking his sandy whips at him and got a quick gaze on him. "Now that I got you my dear boy..your nightmares will come true and I wonder what they are since I know Alidia's...do you know them my dear boy?"

Only then did Rahim figure out who this man was. He'd heard about him sometimes as a kid. But he'd never been afraid of him, not even then.
"Ssso, you're that pathetic excussse for a Night Terror that people call 'the Boogeyman.' I really expected more. What was your name, Pitch Black? Let me tell you, I'm not easy to figure out." he informed the other man.

Pitch just laughed. "Are you sure bout that?" He whipped Alidia. She screamed as she was nicked and then a dark horse showed up and played a movie. It showed Rahim and her 2 families in danger. Pitch laughed.

Rahim didn't like this, at all. He hated it when someone hurt Alidia. But he was scared by what Pitch was doing, all he felt was sympathy for the woman he loved.
"That'sss jussst her fearsss. I doubt you can find out mine. Thisss is what makesss you pathetic in my eyesss, Pitch." Rahim stressed the name so much that he spat a little at him. "You don't try to frighten new typesss of prey."

Again Pitch laughed. "You don't get it boy...look at her fears...she fears of losing you and her 2 families...but what's this..." the horse showed Alidia giving birth. "What a sight...and yet..." then it showed the baby carried by him, Rahim and then a flatline. "Alidia...your soulmate died from childbirth..."

The idea of Alidia dying in childbirth was a sad one. Bad enough that it made him lash out at the tormentor. He moved to punch him hard in the face, but Pitch seemed to have disappeared for a minute. It was the opportunity he needed. His complete and utter loathing of the dark creature that was trying to keep her from him was enough to make it back off. Then, the Muktar knelt beside Alidia.
"Alidia, you can beat him. The thing about dreamsss is that you can control them. He can only torture you if you let him. Don't give him that power, my love. He'sss jussst a shadow on the wall." he coaxed her.

((OCC: Sorry for the lateness... dinner duty...))

Alidia began to wake up from the hold of Pitch. Alidia began to think of happier things. She opened her eyes as she began motioning the music to play like when her and Rahim were at the garden. She began to float on the air. Gold sand began showing from her. Pitch was beginning to be scared. Cherry Blossoms began to come and circulate like in the garden.

Rahim smiled, proud of her for this. He turned back to Pitch and his face turned steely. Just like that, he got an idea for something.
"You think everyone hasss fear, Pitch? That mussst mean you have it too. I wonder...what horrible thing keepsss the 'Boogeyman' awake at night?" Rahim inquired.
