Alidia smiled, "Thanks dad." Alidia made torches appear and they showed paintings and books. "The books are right here. dad." Alidia directed him to the overwhelming shelve with a ton of books. "Have fun."

"Wow." was all Vlad could say. Pushing the feeling that he shouldn't be there to the back of his mind, he started looking. Many of the books were covered with dust, telling him that no one really tended to them anymore. He almost wondered if the caretakers forgot this place was here.

Alidia just leaned against the stone wall then she found her diary and grabbed it and began writing in it.

Vlad opened one book, blowing off dust before opening it. Waving away excess dust, he checked the first page he opened it to. He started reading what he found, muttering it out loud.

Alidia was humming the Nutcracker Suite as she continued writing her dairy. On occasions she'd look at her dad and began sketching. She giggled as she drawling.

Vlad had been reading a section in one book. He had found something very interesting. The reason for why the Muktars began disappearing over the years.
"Hmm. How very sad." Vlad mumbled as he read.

Alidia heard her dad and walked to him. "Whats up,dad." She held her diary to her chest.

"Oh, I just found out why Muktars are thought to be long gone. What I read so far is rather sad." Vlad answered, turning to her. He brought the book into the light so that he could read better.

"why is that dad," Alidia asked curiously as she made a torch appear.

" 'Because of their ability to track magic and impressive fighting skills, Muktars were often employed to assassinate dangerous mages. Some who hired them, however, were not all good. When some targetted young children with great magical potential, the Muktar's sense of honor conflicted with their employer's motives. Angered, many of them turned the ignorant public against the entire race until many of them were killed because of a horrible misunderstanding.' " Vlad read the passage out loud.

"Oh my," Alidia said and thats when it set in, Devlin and Jenny. "Oh, no. Little bro and Jenny. We need to keep them safe." Alidia had a funny feeling

"What? Alidia, what is going on?" Vlad asked, confused.

"It says young kids. I think the hunters maybe after Jenny and my "little brother" Devlin." Alidia didnt wanna lose anyone else close to her again.

At the mention of the children, Vlad became very worried. Devlin was one of his favorite students. And Jenny was the daughter of a friend he had made there. He didn't want anything to happen to them.
"How do you know they're in danger?" Vlad asked. When children were threatened, he just turned into a territorial animal.

Alidia opened her deer charm she made and Devlin's picture came up.



"I dont why, dad but I feel like they are in danger. My guts are twisting." Alidia said worriedly. "But I swear if they touch my little brother...." Alidia felt her eyes were burning up with angry.

"Well, let me be the first to toss a spear their way if they do." Vlad agreed. He better not find those children harmed. If he did, heads would roll.

"We'll do it together." Alidia said

Vlad nodded in agreement. He was glad that she felt the same way. No one was going to hurt anyone at this school on his watch.

Alidia was ready to kick ass. Nobody messed with her family and get away with it. She was ready for those hunters.

Shanti smiled as Alidia took her arm but stopped in front of the entrance of the secret library, actually at the moment she didn't really fell to go in that adventure!
"I can't!" she said as Alidia and her dad entered in the hallway, she kissed softly Alidia's cheek to say goodbye and waved at Vlad "I won't come with you! Sorry!" she said awkward and walked outside the library "Bye!" she waved and left the room.
