Tutoring Session 2 (Anyone)

Alidia smiled as she sat listening to her best friend's angelic voice.
"You have the most wonderful voice, Belle."

"Really?" Belle wrung her skirt. Her sisters were alwasy complimented on their voices; but Belle never got that. Perhaps it was because she always did the harmonies based on the strength of her voice. "Thank you. I pull the compliment back to you."

Alidia smiled. "I'm not that good. Ariel is better," Alidia pulled out the music note charm off her necklace and made the hologram of Ariel singing come on it. "Hear, listen."

Ariel did have a fantastic voice. Belle had heard the vampire hum, but never fully blast out in song. This as a treat. Her song sounded like something Calypso would ruin. "She's amazing! I've heard her hum before but never fully sing."

Alidia grimaced as she put the charm back. "Yea, everyone loves Ariel's voice and personality."

Alidia sat down, began crying cause she thought very few cared bout her and she cried harder as she opened the cat charm and Oncie's face showed.
"My beloved how I miss you so."

And it played their song.

"Alidia, I know you miss him, but you;re acting like my sister Calypso; you're more sensible than her to pine over a man forever." Belle scolded lightly. Alidia and Once-ler would've made a sweet pair. 'So, I know this is opening old wounds but...when did you last see him?"

Alidia looked at Belle. She was shocked that Belle would say that but she understood why. "The last time I saw him was the first day of this month. It's just that Ariel sees Jim so much and I'm just here alone."

"Alidia, if he doesn't come back," Belle cringed as she said that, "and I hate to say that, trust me, then perhaps you could look at other men; There are plenty of fish in the sea."

"Belle there is kinda someone else. He is new, with his brother." Alidia reached in her pocket and grabbed the Lion charm and opened it. And it showed Cale with the wind going through his hair with the song she hummed when they were together.

"He;s cute." Belle acknowledged. She remembered hearing about teo shifters coming in if Jasmine hadn't met them, Belle was going to introduce her. But Alidia had her eyes on the blonde, so the redhead would wrk. "Hey, is his brother seeing anyone? I kind of want to hook him up with my friend Jasmine."

Alidia smiled. "I don't think so," Alidia started to say like normal but when she looked at the eyes of the hologram her voice sounded like a love spell was casted on her,"You know what Cale is so kind, gentle, and has the most heavenly eyes."

Belle blinked as Alidia spoke about Cale in a sort of trance. I was probably evident she was developing feelings for her. However, Belle knew there was more to someone than just looks. She discovered that with Flynn; he was as courteous as he was handsome. "So, is he sweet to you?"

Alidia blushed. "He's shy but I think with help of music and me being myself. I can make a little spark ignite a light in him."


Alidia thought this might work with Cale. His smile, his chuckle, his kind spirit and his lion instincts.

"If Once-ler doesn't show his whiskered mug," Belle said, "then use that voice of yours to talk to Cale. I can see you two having some great chemistry. Speaking of which, I need to ask Flynn out again."

Alidia closed the charm and put it back in her pocket. "I don't know Belle, what if I'm not his type or I'm not pretty enough cause Ariel has everything. The beauty, brains, voice & as for me," Alidia sat down making everything back to normal," I'm just a nobody. Just a lone witch and I've only had a few kisses but since Oncie is gone. I'm better off alone."

Belle frowned. "For starters, stop kicking yourself and comparing yourself to others. You can't be exactly like someone; it's impossible. You have just as good a voice as Ariel. And if Cale doesn't like you? His loss."

Alidia was looking down. Taking everything Belle was telling her. "It's just that when I meet people right away they say "why can't you be like Ariel?" it's that Oncie and Cale are the only guys that see me for me. But Jim," Alidia blushed as she took off the sailboat charm off and made the hologram of Jim appear

And the song she felt came and she sang it.

"when Jim and I first met I was certain it was true love, but it wasn't. He'd fall under Ariel's "spell". You see, Belle. I'm no nymph like you, no vampire like Jim or Ariel, no shapeshifter like Jasmine. I am just a witch that knows how to control her powers but doesn't use them unless making herself or others but mostly others happy. Now with Cale, sure I can be myself and take awhile to start going out but I could also do a love potion but I won't mess with free will." Alidia looked at Belle's eyes with a plea," Please help me by more beautiful." Alidia closed the charm and placed it on her golden necklace chain once again.

"So you had a crush on Jim and it wasn't meant to be,: Belle sighed. She knew that feeling well; a man seems to be 'the one' and suddenly they turn on you. Every century had one. "You know, you can't force anyone to truly love you; that's why love spells almost always backfire. Same with love potions; if anything they're just really flowery drinks." Realizing what she was saying wasn't getting where she wanted it to go, Belle started over. "Alidia, that oyster I gave you isn't just som Nereid charm; it's a plain old oyster. It looks typical, but, given time and confidence, great beauty can be found within. That's what will make you more beautiful; finding that confidence."

Alidia smiled as she looked at the charm. "Youre right." Alidia closed her eyes and began singing.



"Its time for me to defy gravity and not let anyone bring down. Not those hunters, my heart or living in Ariel's shadow." Alidia shouted as she stood her ground. She was ready to kick butt.

Belle smiled serenly, nodding. This was the spirit she wanted Alidia to show. She had known the sorceress was capable of feeling such power, but was wise enugh to harness it in check. "That's the spirit, Alidia. With that confidence, you can do anything."

Alidia smiled. As she stroked a pose.

Belle laughed at Alidia's pose. "No one won't come near you looking like that." She looked at the time on her phone. One of the few things she learned to program was a clock. "Uh oh, it looks like our hour is up. Keep looking at the books I loaned to you."

Alidia smiled as she hugged one her best friends ever. "Thanks," she said, "For everything." When they stopped hugging she whispered a spell on Bell's necklace. "This spell will protect you and Flynn."

((OCC: Pretend Alidia did this to Belle.))

"Alidia..." Belle didn't know what to say. Having a spell could have trouble but there was no other option to say no. Especially not to Alidia. "...thank you."

Odette walk into the libary with new books. Odette saw Belle and someone else with her "Hello there Belle and to you to" said Odette with a smile.
