Inside Anne was trying to fight it but she was at tug a war. But outer self smiled as Richard took her hand. "Oh yea Joanne she's the most wonderful person..." Anne's eyes began changing colors as she walked again

Now, Richard was a little suspicious.  Something wasn't right.  Why would Anne's eyes change color?  He grabbed on more tightly and pulled her to him.
"If this Joanne was so wonderful, why did you leave her behind?  And don't lie to me, Anne.  I'll know if you're lying." Richard insisted.  He wondered if someone from her past was trying to control her.

Anne's eyes were normal for second. Anne finally and quickly spilled out the secret before Joanne was in control again. "Richard she's a witch..." her head went down and came back up "Heres Joanne..." She smiled as she got of Richard's arms "So much for true love..." Anne ran upstairs to the tallest tower on the balcony.

Richard immediately gave chase.  He could only think of one reason why Joanne would force her to go up there.  And he knew he had to stop her.
Richard was right behind her.  The prince grabbed a hold of Anne and refused to let her go.  He found a special tiara, the Crown of Light, resting on her vanity.  He reached for it and said a prayer in his head.
'May she be protected from all evil once this crown rests on her head for the first time.' he thought before placing the Crown of Light on Anne's head.

Anne's eyes glowed and there was a shriek. There was a dark shadow and then Anne collapsed in Richard's arms. Anne fluttered her diamond colored eyes opened. "R...Richard.." she said weakly. "Is that you?"

"Yes it's me, Anne.  I'm right here.  You're okay, my darling.  Everything is just fine now." Richard explained in a soothing voice.  He stroked her hair with one hand as he held her.

Anne weakly rose her hand to touch his cheek. A tear fell "I am so sorry about not telling you about her..." Anne shivered "I feel so drained like all my energy is gone..."

"Now, now.  Everything's fine.  Just rest now.  You're safe." Richard told her, kissing her head.

Anne nested her head on Richard's chest. "Youre heart is beating like crazy..." She smiled as she began falling asleep.

"I chased you all the way up here while Joanne was controlling you.  I didn't want anything to happen to you, Anne.  I love you." Richard told her, holding her tightly.

In her sleep Anne placed her hand on his heart. "Youre never going to lose me again cause I love you too..."

"That makes me so happy." Richard whispered to her.  Carefully, he picked her up and gently placed her in bed so she could rest more comfortably.  When her hand clasped his, he decided to lay down beside her.

When they were laying down together Anne's mother peeked in and smiled. "A Wedding is in order..." she walked away and then Anne began having nightmares of her and Richard captured and killed. "No...please...Richard..." she whimpered.

Richard was awakened by the feeling of Anne tossing and turning in bed.  She must be having a nightmare, he decided.  He carefully cradled her and tried to calm her.
"It's okay, Anne.  You're dreaming." he told her.

Anna snapped her eyes opened and cuddled close to Richard "It was horrible...you died in my arms and I..." she broke down crying cause normally with dreams like that came true.

"Oh, Anne.  There's no need to worry.  Nobody who would want to hurt us knows where we are." Richard told her, hugging her to make her feel better.
"Besides, I won't let any harm come to you." he promised, wiping away her tears.

Anne snuggled closer to Richard. "I love you so much...I would do anything to be by your side..." Anne kissed him wrapping herself close to him.

"Anything huh?  I hear that your mother is planning on our wedding.  But whether we do marry is up to us of course." Richard informed her.  He had a good idea of what she'd say, but he still wanted to ask her for himself.
"What do you say, Anne?  Will you marry me?" he asked, giving her a charming smile.

Anne smiled her famous smiled as she kissed him their eyes sparkled coexisting "yes I'll marry you..."

"I can't begin to tell you how happy that makes me, Anne." Richard murmured as he pulled her close for a kiss.  Her lips felt so soft on his.  His arms pulled her up against his body, wanting her as near as possible.

"Ohhh Richard..." Anne swooned when they kissed. "I'll make sure nothing happens to you I swear it..." Anne smiled as she caressed his cheek.

"We can protect each other, my sweet.  Neither of us will be alone again." Richard promised her.  Another kiss found her brow, then her cheeks, her chin, and finally her lips.

Anne melted at Richard's kisses and his touch so far. She blushed as she thought what would happen on their wedding. She began feeling flustered. "Let's get married..." she smiled as she got off the bed and held out her hand. "Here I'll help you up..." her smile widen cause this was like when they first came into contact before when he was transformed.

"Thank you.  And I like that idea.  Very much." Richard replied.
He took Anne's offered hand and rose to his feet.  Slowly, he was becoming used to his body again.  And having her support him was very helpful.  They walked down together, hand in hand.

Walking hand and hand Anne walked in her mother's chambers. "Mother get everything ready..." Anne took Richard's hands into hers. "We are getting married..." her mother smiled as she clapped her hands making sure everything was flawless. The maids took Anne for dress fitting.
