The Happy Couple (Tag: Alidia and Rahim) rated M

Leon turned around.  He recognized the person from his nightmare.  But just in case, he played ignorant.
"What do you want?" he asked.

Richard chuckled. "It's funny how time flies with the one that loses everything..." He stoked Blossom's stone cheek.

"Hey!  Leave her alone." Leon warned him.  He got a bad feeling about this man, and he didn't want him near Blossom.

"Make me my dear boy..." Richard made his staff appear and held it by Blossom.

Something in Leon snapped.  Before he knew what was going on, he rushed up to him.  And then, he slugged Richard hard across the face; hard enough to knock him down.

Richard groaned from the punch. "You-- You stupid mortal... After all Blossom as done for you... She might like you... But you'll never know cause her voice is gone..."

"Oh, but I do know.  You just told me for her.  Thank you so much.  And even if you hadn't, I could guess based on her actions.  I can tell what's in her heart." Leon retorted.

Richard growled "Not for long mortal...." He chuckled as he made it that Blossom could speak but couldn't feel love or any passion as she had her voice back when she awoke. Richard vanished once more.

Leon wasn't sure what to make of Richard's sudden departure.  It felt like he'd won too easily.  Even so, he was glad to be rid of him.  Now, he would have to wait for dusk to arrive and for Blossom to wake up.

At dusk: Blossom growled as she began to wake up. "...Leon?" Then she groaned as she didn't feel her heart. "What the...." She looked at him. "I can speak but I feel no emotions...."

"What?  That can't be.  It must have been that stuck up jerk who tried to threaten you when you were stone." Leon hissed.  He was so angry that he didn't have time to enjoy the fact that she could speak again.

Blossom flew to her friend to comfort him. "Leon..." She decided to give him a hug. "I can speak now..." she tried to lighten the mood.

"That's all well and good.  But it doesn't change what he did.  And he needs to be held accountable for that." Leon told her.

She frowned. "I understand." She flew to the empty plot of land and made a heart-shaped flower appear. "Even though I don't have my heart I feel something for you..."

"I know you do.  I love you, Blossom.  I may not know much about you, but you won my heart." Leon told her.

Blossom blushed. "Leon... You love me?" She felt something even though she couldn't grasp it fully.
Meanwhile; Richard laughed evilly as he watched them. "Love... Ah! Pure poppycock!!" He held Blossom's heart that was beating faster cause of what Leon said. "This won't do..." he muttered as he began to squeeze it. Blossom knelt down in pain. "Ahhh...." Her wings began to fade and she felt like she was dying.

"You're insane.  Give me that!" Leon demanded.  He dove on Richard, wrestling for control of Blossom's heart.  He wrapped a hand around the other man's throat and began to squeeze.  Pretty soon, it became impossible for Richard to hurt her and breathe at the same time.  Leon took the opportunity to steal her heart back.

Blossom watched her beloved fight for her heart and watch Richard stop breathing. "You killed him. Thank you." Her heart glowed in Leon's hands.

"I wasn't trying to kill him.  I just wanted him to let go of your heart." Leon confessed.  He looked down at her heart in his hands.
"I think this is yours." he added.

(OOC: Hey, do you mind if we try one last idea for this?)

(occ: I don't mind at all. I love this. The pastlives and everything)

Blossom smiled. "Want to put in?" She flew to him.

(OOC: Alright.  Now, I have two ideas and I want to use the one we don't pick for another plot between Alidia and Rahim in the Creative writing classroom.)

"Alright.  If you're sure." Leon told her.  Carefully, he placed her heart close to her chest and returned it to where it belonged.

(okay I'm all ears)

Blossom gasped as she felt her heart being put back. Then she passed out.

(OOC: Here's my first idea.  A young sorcerer was turned into a griffin by a jealous rival and imprisoned somewhere.  Then a woman finds where he was being kept and gets drawn into the conflict.)

"Blossom?  Blossom, are you alright?  Please, answer me." Leon coaxed her, holding her close to him.

(Occ: I like that one . What's the other one?)

Blossom's body began to glow as her wings vanished and her body began to change more human.

(OOC: The other is about two people from two empires that were enemies and both fell together.  Rahim's past self was a dragonborn and Alidia's was a tiefling.  Dragonborn are a mix of dragon and human and tieflings are humans that have features that make them look devilish.  It's one of those opposites attract things.)

"Blossom?  Are you okay?" Leon asked, begging for a sign.  There had to be some sign that she was alive.
