"Christian Kavanaugh, and it's a pleasure to meet you as well." Christian replied.  There was something about this girl.  Even though he had just saved her from almost drowning, he felt like they were being pulled closer together.

"Christian... Awesome name..." Jillian smiled. "You can call me Jill. By the way are you here on first class?" if he was it was forbidden to talk to different social classes. They walked around the ship but had to stop at the first class section. "This is probably you...I'll see you around..." and with that she disappeared leaving her painting by the entrance. By him. She shut her cabin's door. "he's so handsome...I want to see him again but then again..." she paused as she looked her decent dress "I'm not rich..." she sighed as she landed on her bed.

"She thinks I'm first class?  Don't I wish." Christian muttered to himself.  As he looked down, he noticed something had been left behind, a sketchbook with a scene of the sky and ocean at sunset on the open page.
"This must be hers.  I better hold on to this if she comes looking for it." he decided as he picked it up and headed to his cabin.

The next morning Jillian began pacing back and forth forgetting that her sketchpad was missing. She was playing with her necklace. "I wanna...no.... I need to see him again...but he's first class...and I'm a hopeless artist...oh no..." she gasped "where is it? Oh buggerit...if anyone sees that I'm busted..." she walked out wearing a yellow dress and began searching for her sketchpad. 

Christian had been looking the other way when he heard a familiar voice.  He looked ahead of him and saw Jillian.  She seemed troubled by something.
"Jill, hello.  I found this out on deck.  I thought it might be yours." he said as he approached her, showing her the book.

Jillian smiled and blushed a bit with Christian around. Then she saw her sketchpad. "thank god you found it..." she tried getting it but since he was taller he held it high. "give it back..." 

"Only if you will let me watch you create an artistic piece sometime." Christian told her.  He had no intention of playing games like this with her out here.  So, he held her book out to her.
"Will you promise me that?" he asked.

Jillian half-smiled. "Fine...I promise but we'll do it in my cabin since you're social class won't allow people like me..." she took his hand, blushed secretly and took him to her cabin. She made him sit on her bed. "stay..." she pulled a chair and began sketching. Her necklace was swaying back and forth on her v-neck.

"Thank you for inviting me.  But why wouldn't you be allowed to come see me?  It's not like I'm first class, Jill." Christian said, feeling a little confused. "Yes, I'm well off, but I'm hardly that rich."

Jillian paused as she placed the pencil behind her ear. "You have the attire as one and the way you speak..." Jillian began playing with her necklace. "You strike me as one that's all...okay?" she rose her voice but she didn't mean it. "Now...stand still...nearly done..." she grabbed the pencil again and sketched as she bit the edge of it. She was getting nervous. 

Christian sat still.  He had time to think over what she'd said.  It seemed as if he did seem like a higher standing person.
"That could be because my family is pretty old." he speculated.

Jillian chuckled as she looked up from sketching and still sketched while talking to him, "I bet they aren't that old...my family is old like Leif Erikson old..." she looked down; she looked at Christian then at the sketch. She smiled. "now to add color..." she went to grab her paints and her hands touched his. She blushed slightly "I'm sorry..." her necklace shimmered as they were close, but she didn't noticed.

"It's alright.  And the Kavanaughs are one of the five oldest families from Ireland.  People know that because they say there's a Banshee bound to our family.  The family must be old for it to have this ghost follow it." Christian explained.

Jillian looked at Christian. "You're family is Irish too?" she quickly got the paints and began painting. A few minutes later she smiled as she showed him. It was him at a meadow with shamrocks around him with a young woman who was hooded. Secretly it was her but she said "the hooded woman is for whoever your true love will be..." 

"Really?  Very interesting.  And yes, my family comes from Ireland, on my father's side.  We visited there once.  Such a beautiful country, even if it does rain there every other day." Christian joked.

Jillian looked at Christian. She sat next to him on the bed and placed his hands in hers. "Do you think fate is doing something here? Cause I have this feeling I know you but I can't place it..." her eyes sparkled when she locked into his. She slowly began to lean forward. 

"I don't know.  Maybe.  Would it be crazy if I told you I felt the same way when I saw you?" Christian asked, his hand coming up to rest on her shoulder.

Jillian shook her head "Really?" before he could answered she picked up Christian by the chin cocked her head and kissed him. Her necklace glowed. 

Christian stopped for a minute.  Slowly, his eyes closed on their own and his hands reached up to caress her arms.  Her lips were so soft and warm.
"Yes.  I really did." he whispered against Jill's lips.

Jillian loved Christian's embrace on her. She slipped her hand down his shirt. "Christian..." she gasped with each gasp of air "Lets dressed up as first class and crash a party..what do you say..."

"Crash a party?  Aren't you adventurous.  I suppose we could do that." Christian said, his rebellious side excited.

Jillian giggled as she got up and got her trunk from under her bed and walked in the bathroom and changed. She wore a black cocktail dress, ruby red lipstick and put her hair in a side ponytail. Her necklace was dangling on her cartilage. "How you think, dear?" she said seductively.

"You look very lovely, Jill.  I daresay you could fool anyone into thinking you were a first class lady.  I know it's fooling me right now." Christian complimented her, kissing her hand.

Jill blushed. "Now my dear Christian we have a party to attend..." Jill wrapped her arm around his as she draped her "mink" coat on.

"Then, I am honored to escort my lady." Christian replied, getting the door for her.  He then led her most of the way to where the party was supposed to be.  He hadn't spent much time exploring the ship, so he wasn't sure where to go after a certain point.
