Sadira walked through the portal. She waited for her beloved.

Amal went in right after her. Clutching Sadira's hand, he led her along through an expanse that seemed to be like standing in midair. He always hated this part about Shadow walking.
"I think this should be a good place to get out." he said after a while. Again, he opened a doorway. This time, it opened to reveal an alley on the opposite side of town. And it was deserted.

Sadira was a bit scared but being with her beloved made up for it. "I wish that I knew the reason they're after us. Oh Amal," Sadira saw little cottage "it's so cute and tiny. Prefect for a safe house."

"Really? I guess so. Shall we see if anyone lives here?" Amal asked her.

Sadira took Amal's hand and they tiptoed to the cottage. Sadira peeked in the window.
It was a finished cottage perfect for them.


"Amal its prefect...and its empty..." Sadira opened the door and the smell of roses filled the air. "Come on..."

"Hmm. This is cozy. Yes, I think this will be quite suitable." he agreed as he looked around the little cottage.

Sadira smiled. "Home sweet home...." she looked at her beloved as she looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes as she changed her outfit.



"Ohhh Amal..." she said flirty as she laid sideways on the bed.

"Sadira, my star. You really do look beautiful in white." Amal said as he sat beside her, smiling. He reached out and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Amal...my prince...has come back to stay with me...." Sadira said as she held him close and kissing him. "I've been waiting for this....for too long"

"Seven years is an awfully long time for us to be separated. Well, you won't have to worry about me going away ever again. From now on, I'll always be by your side." Amal promised her before giving her a kiss in return. The kiss was everything she could expect from him, gentleness backed by a careful, hesitant strength. There was nothing forceful or rushed about it. They had all the time in the world.

Sadira smiled as she continued to kiss him. She began to take off his jacket and unbutton his shirt. She gasped as she rubbed his chest.

After becoming El Katib, Amal never thought a woman would be able to even look at him without being repulsed by what he was. And yet, here he was with his childhood sweetheart teasing his skin with her touch. It was incredible how much had changed in one night and in seven years. His body shivering, he wrapped his arms around her in a secure embrace as he inhaled the scent of her hair.

Sadira smiled as she began kissing his chest. "Amal you still smell like the fountain we used to play in as kids," she paused as she felt the embrace and she softly let out a teasing moan "Oh Amal...feeling complete..."

"You have no idea. Sadira, I never stopped thinking of you will I was gone. I sometimes tried to picture how you would look after all this time. Nothing I conjured up in my head came close to the vision I beheld when I first saw you again." Amal replied, his voice quiet as he recalled that moment.

Sadira smiled as she remembered the first time they met. She was the new girl in the village and then Amal showed up smiling and welcomed her. They became best friends that did everything together. "Amal remember when you saved me from the slavetraders at their lair as they started to mess with me ?" Sadira asked. "Because that's when I fell in love with you." Sadira began sliding the straps down off her shoulders.

"Was it now? You had to have been...eleven at the time. That was the year before I disappeared. So, you must be nineteen right now." Amal guessed, his hands caressing her bare shoulders.

Sadira softly moaned when Amal touched her shoulders "Oh Amal..." she said. "Then that following year I was wanted us to be closer so i made our friendship rings but then you told me that you had to leave to make sure everything was okay and you'd promised to come back. So I'd waited by my window. Days...weeks...months...years...I'd never gave up...then before I was of age I had news that you were dead... I didn't believe it...so I ran away and that's when I found a fortuneteller who made me the way I am today...."

Amal couldn't help feeling guilty about that. Now matter how he tried to look at the situation, it didn't change the fact that he had been selfish back then. He would make it up to her, somehow.
"I didn't know you have magical talent." he confessed.

Sadira smiled as she kissed him softly. "Oh Amal...let's forget the bad and make some good..."

"You're right. What's past is past. It's the present that really matters." Amal murmured as he leaned in and captured her mouth in another kiss.

Sadira softly moaned. "Ohh Amal..." she pressed her somewhat undressed body on his body.

His hands touched every inch of her exposed flesh. Sadira was here with him, and he was earning a moan from her because of the way he was treating her. She was so soft under his touch. This might be the luckiest day of his life.

Sadira kissed Amal again this time the kiss was begging him to take her away into their future. "Ohhh Amal....take me away...I'm ready...I've been waiting all this time for you, only you."

"Are you sure, my star?" Amal asked, one hand sliding up her thigh. "Are you so sure you want me to have that honor so soo?" He was partially teasing her, of course, but he also wanted to make sure this was exactly what she wanted.

"Yes....my beloved prince Amal.... I am positive..." Sadira kissed Amal again as she unbuttoned his pants.
