Relaxing Ride (Tag: Alidia)

"What is that girl looking at?" Damon asked himself.  He shrugged before going back to his notes.  As he did, he started to draw the amulet he'd secretly been wearing.

When the bell rung out for lunch Sophie ran out super fast feeling ashamed of her looking at the young boy. She sat down at the huge tree in the middle of the lunch area, by herself but she didn't mind it until; "Hey Sophie-Freak!!" The cheerleader smiled evilly as she dumped her soup on Sophie's head. "Oops... Sorry..." Sophie began to sniffled as she ran away. 

Damon had been walking to lunch when it happened.  The girl he'd seen watching him ran past him, covered in soup and crying.  Confused, and more than a little concerned, he went after her.
"Hey!  Hey!  Are you okay?" Damon asked.

Sophie sniffled as she looked around and gasped as she saw Damon. "Oh god..." she got red. "I'm sorry..." she ran in the bathroom. 

Damon wasn't sure about going into the bathroom after her.  But he worried about leaving her alone.  He stuck around outside the door.
"Um, are you okay?  I mean, I'm kind of worried about you.  You're not hurt or anything." he called to her.

Sophie sniffled as she looked at the mirror trying to get the soup out. "I'm fine!!" She curled up in a corner & cried harder. Two girls passed by calling her in names in the hallway unaware of Damon.  

"Look, I'm trying to be of help here.  If you tell me who did this, I will deal with them.  Bullying isn't right, no matter what anyone thinks." Damon tried to coax her into talking.

Sophie sniffled as she got the soup out and walked to face her guardian angel. "It was the cheerleaders... Catina & Josephine... By the way I'm Sophie Fairchild..." 

"I see.  Oh, and I'm Damon Donahue.  Nice to meet you." Damon introduced himself to her.

Sophie smiled as she shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, Damon Donahue." For some reason his last name seemed familiar but she didn't remember. Then Catina who was a blonde and Josephine who had brown hair came back. Sophie gasped. They smiled sweetly from behind Damon but playfully gasped as they acted to be concerned. "Oh my gods Sophie..." They hugged her. Sophie began like an empty shell. She was emotionless with them but with Damon she felt so many things. 'Help me....' she mouthed. 'These are the two soup cheerleaders....' 

Damon was able to pick up on the message Sophie was trying to give him.  He would deliver on his promise.  He turned to meet the girls coming.
"I'm hoping you two aren't responsible for her torment.  I don't know how anyone could have such a Simple Mind." Damon said to them.

Catina and Josephine gasped. "No we wouldn't..." Sophie silently growled as she made a first but instead of fighting she walked away as Catina and Josephine talked to Damon about going to the Homecoming Dance with them. Sophie ran as she heard that to the park by the school and sat by the flowers.

"I am not interested in going with either of you.  I would rather go to the Homecoming dance with Carrie White than go with you two.  Good day, ladies." Damon said as he turned on his heel and left them.  He was hoping to find Sophie and talk to her about some things.

Catina and Josephine gasped once more. "Well we never!!" Meanwhile at the park; Sophie was looking at the flowers and one began to glow. "What on earth?" She began to looker closer as a necklace began to show. "Woah..." Then there was a glow surrounding her. 

Damon began to sense something wasn't right.  He headed toward what was causing it.  What he saw was Sophie in the center of it all.
"Sophie?" he asked, surprised.

Sophie heard Damon's voice but it was he was far away. Then the necklace showed this creature that was a female with horns for a helmet. Then Sophie began to see small flashes of her past and her parents. She began to scream as she felt her heart began to ache from everything happening to her. "Damon!!!!" She yelled as the glow glowed brighter and began circling her. 

Damon rushed to her.  He held onto Sophie, trying to help her bear what was happening.  With the one who protected him, it was easier to withstand.
"It's okay, Sophie.  You'll be fine." he assured her.

Sophie felt so much things around her and the necklace wrapped around her neck as she passed out in Damon's arms. 

Damon looked at Sophie in his arms.  He looked at the amulet around her neck.  It reminded him of the one he had, but different.  He tried to pick her up.
"We have a lot to discuss when you wake up." he said to the comatose girl.

A Few Hours Later; When Sophie came to she gasped as she was in a unfamiliar house and on a couch. "Did I..." she said to herself as she touched the necklace. "No I didn't..." She looked around. Where was she? 

Damon had been watching over Sophie while she slept.  When she woke up, he was there to meet her.  He hoped that she would be willing to listen to him.
"Hi there, Sophie.  I hope you feel better." he greeted her.

Sophie nearly jumped in the air as Damon spoke to her but she knew that her heart that he didn't mean any harm. After all he helped with them. She smiled as she looked at him with her eyes that shined like stars. "Yes Damon what is it?" She took ahold of his hands. 

"Uh, where do I start?  You now have a Titan spirit bonded to you through the amulet around your neck.  I don't know how you got it, but I'm very impressed that you bonded with a Titan.  Not everyone can do that." Damon began to explain.

Sophie tilted her head to the side. "A Titan? What's that? And my necklace..." she took it off and examined it. It glowed pink. She gasped as she dropped it. "I-- I-- I'm so confused..." she confessed. 

"Well, I know about this stuff because...I too can bond with Titans." Damon began.  To prove it, he revealed the amulet around his neck.  If he needed to, he would show her his Titan.
