Relaxing Ride (Tag: Alidia)

Eliza gasped as she saw an older woman.
Eliza didnt think twice as she put her dagger away.
She jumped over Cameron and helped the woman.
"Let me help you..." She smiled.

Cameron was surprised to find an old woman was the one they'd gotten so worked up over.  He dropped his fearsome act.  But he kept his distance, so as not to frighten the woman.

Eliza helped the old woman and then the woman spoke as she held her staff. "You are very kind my dear... Princess Eliza..." Eliza gasped. She didn't tell this woman her name nor she didn't wear her crown. Then she laughed evilly as she got to her feet and did a spell. She was the witch. Eliza covered Cameron but it was too late the witch made her vanish. "Cam--" she held out her hand but she was gone.

Cameron rushed to save Eliza, but he was too late.  He had failed her, but he wouldn't fail again.  Opening his wings, he took to the air to find the witch's home.  Once he found it, he would get Eliza back.

The witch had Eliza chained and gagged. "Mmm... Cameron..." she muffled. The witch crackled. "He'll never save you... After I'm through..." she waved her staff and changed Eliza into a swan. "So much for you breaking the spell deary... He never loved you..." Eliza sniffles as she was let go and unable to talk but the witch made it for Cameron could speak. Eliza flew to the lake crying.

Cameron hurried over the forest, looking for some sign of the witches dwelling.  Instead, he found something else.  A swan.
'What is a swan doing so deep in the woods?' Cameon wondered.  He flew lower so that he could land.  The dragon watched the swan carefully.
"When did-" He stopped.  He placed one of his front paws to his throat.  Had he just...?
"My voice.  I can speak." he realized.

Eliza gasped when she saw Cameron and heard his voice. Then the witch's voice echoed. "He would never love you... Never love you..." She sniffles as she began flapping her wings and began flying away. 'I will always love you Cameron... Even though you want not feel the same way...'

Cameron saw the swan taking off.  He had to follow it, he just knew this.  He rushed after the beautiful bird as quickly as he could.
"Please wait!  I am looking for someone very important to me.  Princess Eliza Greenleaf.  Have you seen her?" Cameron asked the swan.  He knew he was probably wasting his breath by hoping the swan would answer, but one never knew unless they tried.

Eliza gasped as she landed. He was looking for her. But she couldn't speak. She locked her eyes with his. Hopefully her eyes could show it was her. 'Cameron...'

"Wait.  I know those eyes." Cameron thought out loud.  He had seen those eyes in only one person.  And he couldn't help but wonder.
"Eliza?" he asked.

Eliza's eyes began to water as she wrapped her wings around him. 'Cameron... I wish I could say I love you but I can not...'

"Oh Eliza.  I will not ask you to speak, because I assume you cannot.  But I will ask that you listen to what I wish to say." Cameron began using his left wings to embrace her.
"I was so determined to find you when you were taken.  I felt something for you, even before you were abducted.  I don't know if you feel anything for me.  But know that I do have feelings for you.  I'm in love with you." he went on.

That made Eliza cried harder as she pecked his cheek. 'Cameron... I love you... So much... You make me so happy...' Then her body began to ache as she fell to the ground. 

Cameron leaned over her.  He tried to comfort her.  Eliza looked uncomfortable, and he would do his best to make her feel better.
"It's okay, Eliza.  I'm here for you." Cameron assured her.

Eliza weakly opened her eyes and smiled as she saw Cameron. "My love..." She gasped. She could talk again. "Cameron..." she giggled. "I can speak!! We can both speak..." 

"Yes, we can.  Now I wonder if there's a way to fix this.  We're both under a spell.  The only thing I'm upset about is that that witch denied me the chance to take you flying with me.  But, being a swan, you discovered the joys of flight on your own." Cameron said to her.

Eliza smiled slightly as she pecked his cheek. "I wish that I could have rode you. It'd be so much fun..." Then she began flapping her wings. "Lets race..." she giggled. 

"As you wish." Cameron agreed.  His wings began to work to get him airborne.  He was eager to race her now that they could both fly.

Eliza smiled as she flew in the air and felt so free with the wind underneath her swan wings. "This is amazing..." Meanwhile; the witch growled as she watched them. Then she had an idea. When they land Cameron would forget her as they would be human again. 

"This was the one thing I loved about being a dragon.  The power of flight." Cameron admitted.  He started to do some spinning tricks in the air.  He felt free whenever he was flying.  And now he was sharing this with his beloved Eliza.

Eliza smiled. "I know... And are you showing off?" She laughed. Then she began to feel worn out. "Let's land and we can have more Fun!!" 

"Alright.  If that's what you want.  I'll meet you down there." Cameron replied.  The dragon started to ease himself to the ground, wanting to make a soft landing.

Eliza smiled as they landed and there was a glow and she gasped when she saw her human hands. She squealed with joy and delight. She ran towards Cameron. "Cameron!! We're human!!" Her smile widen. 

Cameron felt strange, like there was something he was missing. He was exactly as he had been. Shoulder-length black hair contrasted with his fair skin. The pallor of his skin made his deep blue eyes stand out more. He was dressed in a blue tunic and green cloak.
"Miss, can you tell me who you are? My heart tells me that I know you, but memories are so blurred. But I know that I care for you, and love you." Cameron said, longing to remember what had happened between them.

Eliza shook her head. "Cameron? Do you remember me? I'm your love..." She began to tear up. "It's me..." she cupped his face. "Please..." she pleaded as she leaned in to kiss him. "I'm your other half..." But the witch laughed as she watched. "True loves kiss won't work but a vow... But they don't know..."
