The Lion and The Witch (Tag: Cale)

Alidia was sitting under a tree and she pictured her beloved Once-ler and started to make a black rose appear but then she thought of the pain he caused her and she made it wilt. But then again she decided to think of the new boy, Cale. He looked like an angel with his blonde hair. She wrote him a note saying she would like to meet him under the Magic Tree in the gardens. She just waited for him seeing if he would show.

After receiving a note from someone, Cale made his way into the gardens. He didn't know who it was from. He put his hands in his pockets as he walked, thinking of all the things he and his brother could experience at the academy. They had only been here for one day. He grinned to himself before looking up, seeing the girl he had met in the hallway earlier. "Alidia, right?" he raised an eyebrow before sitting down on the log nearby. "How's it going?" he asked with a smile.

Alidia shook her head to show her reply to her name. "You can call me Ali, if you want to," Alidia said sheepishly. She looked at his eyes and she smiled. "So, Cale what brings you here?" Alidia couldnt stopped grinning she felt like she was on her solarsurfer.

"Alright" he chuckled, "nice to meet you, Ali" he said simply. He rested his arms on his thighs, "me and my brother were travelling through Italy. We heard a few rumours of this place and decided to check it out" he said. "What about you?"

"I'm here because of Athena and Ariel," Alidia started to say,"they took me in. Because when I was still mortal I went out with Deanne to a blind date and then when I refused his proposal for marriage he was a magician and made me bonded into a witch. He killed all my family and was going to kill me but my necklace that was given to me by my family stopped him. Before I blacked out he swore he'd get his revenge and then when I came to Ariel and Anthea have taken care of me. So I've been waiting for him and I've almost mastered my magic." Alidia grinned

Cale listened, although all of this was a bit too much information. Especially since they just met. "I'm sorry that happened to you" he said. "That's great. Though you seem kind of young for a witch to have already mastered magic... and I thought you were a shape shifter?" he added the last part quickly, feeling rather confused as to how she could be multiple creatures.

Alidia giggled. "I can shift to anyone and/or anything. Here watch this," Alidia grabbed her charms and whispered a spell and there she shifted into Cale's brother and then shifted back to herself "it's only a quick shift but I mostly use my magic. Like this," she waved her hand and made a rose appear, "see. Plus I'm not too young," she said playfully "in mortal years I'm 20 and in supernatural I'm 200+ years. Plus if your wondering I don't fly a broom but I ride my baby," Alidia whistled for her solarsurfer. "this is my baby, and I made her. I love making things like this."

Cale watched as she shifted into Dimitri, before she whistled for her solar surfer. He raised his eyebrows, "seems like you can do everything" he said, not knowing whether to be impressed or not. He didn't even know it was possible for someone to have that many magical qualities.

Alidia held her hand out when she jumped on her baby, "Wanna take a ride?"

Cale hesitated, he wasn't one for flying. He shook his head, "sorry... I'm not really a flying person" he chuckled sheepishly. He grabbed his phone out and fiddled with it, glancing up at her apologetically. He placed his phone back into his pocket. "So... what do you prefer? Shape shifting or witchcraft?" he asked curiously.

Alidia jumped off her baby and made it disappear. "I'll be honest, my shifting power is almost gone so my witchcraft is all I have left."

"Oh okay... Is that because you've nearly mastered your witch abilities?" Cale asked curiously.

Alidia got sheepish again "I think so." Alidia started to play with her hair and charms. "I'm gonna miss my shifting powers."

Cale nodded his head in understanding. "Well, at least you'll be able to focus on one area rather than two" he said, meaning her ability to shape shift as well as use magic.

"Yea," Alidia said as she leaned on the tree. "So, Cale. What's your story?"

"What's my story?" he raised his eyebrows and thought for a moment. "Well, me and my brother grew up in an orphanage in Russia for most of our lives. Apparently we were found in another country when we were five" he shook his head, he didn't have a clear memory. "And yeah, we often ran away from the orphanage but we were always brought back" he rolled his eyes. "So, we were forced to stay until now, that we're eighteen, we left of our own free will" he sighed.

Alidia felt bad for him. "I'm sorry. I guess we are similar in a way." Alidia giggled. "Cale? Do you think we are like this for a reason?"

"Like what?" he asked, feeling slightly confused by her question.

Alidia looked in Cale's eyes and saw so much mystery and pain. "I mean like why are we supernatural? Is like are we chosen or cursed? Cause I know why I am the way I am and I dont mind it cause I wouldnt meet everyone." She started to hum and started to sing to herself.

Cale slowly nodded in understanding. "I guess we are what we are. And we just have to accept it no matter what challenges we face or how much we dislike who we are" he shrugged. He grabbed a twig off of the ground and started bending it slightly as she sang to herself.

When Alidia was singing her song, she thought so many things. And she looked at Cale. And she grinned. "Cale, you wanna see something pretty awesome?" Alidia said.

He snapped the twig in half slightly and then looked up at Alidia, "yeah, sure" he smiled. He was always up for something fun, or in this case 'pretty awesome'.

Alidia smiled. "First take my hand and tell me, what is your favorite season?" Alidia was excited to do this magic. She held out her hand.
