Zoey was in shock. "So much white and yet it seems so familiar..." Then all of a sudden there was a woman with a white dress. "Nevets and Basil want news---" she paused as she saw Zoey. "My Zoey..." she whispered. She looked at the woman's eyes. "Mama..." The woman looked at her with a smile.

"I guess you were right, Nevets.  She is the White Queen's missing princess." Basil said to the rabbit.  He felt happy for Zoey as he watched her hug her mother for the first time in so long.

Zoey smiled as she started to grow her normal size and then her dress changed into a snowflake white. "I'm glad to be home mother but there's a problem..." Zoey frowned. "What is that daughter?" the White Queen asked. Zoey took Basil's furry paws. "I love Basil..." Zoey looked at him. "with all my heart..." Her mother smiled "no worries..." she took her royal rod as began chanting a spell as a white surrounded Basil.

Basil was confused by what was happening.  He was even more confused when he started to shine with a bright light.  What was going on?
"What is this?  What are you doing to me?" he couldn't help but ask.  He felt something come over him as it continued.

Zoey looked at her beloved and then her mom. "Mother what are you doing to him?" Her mother smiled. "Just wait..." then the glow died down as Basil came down. Zoey gasped at the sight she saw. "B--Basil you're human...mama turned you human for me..." Zoey smiled as she wrapped her newly changed beloved in a lover's embrace. "I love you..." she smiled.

"I love you too, my dear.  I really do.  This will take some getting used to though." Basil admitted, shakily putting his arms around her.  It seemed he was still quite tall compared to her.  But, his body felt strange to him now.  It was something he'd have to work on.

Zoey looked at her mom. "Thank you mom..." Her mom just smiled. Zoey pulled Basil to his new feet. "Now follow my lead...I'm gonna teach you how to dance first and then everything else will come natural..." she took his hands one on her back and the other on her shoulder. "Okay...one two three and one two three slide step together..." her green eyes locked into his earthy colored eyes.

Basil was nibbling his new lips for a minute.  He leaned on her for several minutes.  But then, he suddenly seemed to find his rhythm and started to dance with her more confidently.
"Thank you, love.  This feels rather thrilling." he said as he turned her around.

Zoey smiled. "I believe it was my beloved Basil." Zoey was going to kiss her beloved and then she heard a squealed of a Jobberwocky. He was heading to Basil. "Not on my watch..." Zoey said as she pushed Basil aside and was taken by the monstrous beast.

"No!" Basil screamed.  He grabbed onto the beast's tail and held on.  Carefully, he climbed up higher to get near the Jabberwock's back.
"You're planning on eating her, aren't you?" he asked, sarcastically.  The Jabberwock gave him a look before answering.
"Thinking about it." was all he said, his deep voice sounding bored.

The Jabberwocky began humming. Zoey began to be entranced by the music. Zoey began feeling drained. Her life-force was becoming weak. "My Basil...I love you only..." she weakly said as her eyes started dropping. The Jobberwocky smiled. "Prefect..." he said as he opened his mouth and swallowed Zoey.

"Oh no you don't." Basil hissed.  He spotted a sword in the Jabberwock's shoulder.  He pulled it out and stabbed it through the monster's throat.  By doing this, he was preventing his beloved from getting to the stomach and causing the beast to choke on his prey.
"Spit her out now!" Basil ordered.

Zoey heard her beloved as she snapped her emerald green eyes open. "Basil..." Zoey said as she began pushing back and forth in the throat. Green fog began to form. She began coughing. "Basil..." Zoey cried out coughing. "There's a gas coming up..." she said muffled. "it's so powerful..." she began to feel weak. "Save yourself--I--lo--" she began losing air as she began to slip away.

"Forget it!  I'm not leaving you!" Basil insisted.  Quickly covering his mouth with a scarf, he cut open the Jabberwock's throat to get her out.  The gas came in heavy clouds, but the scarf kept it out.  Not wasting time, he picked her up and ran to get as far away as possible as fast as he could.

Zoey was out cold from the gas. But her hand was in Basil's. Meanwhile the Jabberwocky went the Red Queen hurt from the sword. She was angry. "Prepare for war..." she gathered her card soliders.

Basil carried his darling back to her mother's castle.  He was tired of all this; tired of all the fighting.  He wished it would all stop.  And perhaps then, he could live in peace with his beloved.

The card soilders were heading to them and Oswald was following behind them in chains. The Red Queen smiled. "On Ward..." Meanwhile in the White Castle Zoey was breathing but very shallow. She fluttered her eyes opened and saw her beloved's earthy colored eyes. "Basil..." she whispered. "We have to stop this war..." she caressed his cheeks. "I love you so much..."

"I know that, on both statements.  Without that monster by her side, the Red Queen's supporters will abandon her.  But the Jabberwock can only be killed by one weapon.  Nothing else will do it, my love." Basil informed her.

"What is that my love?" Zoey weakly got up and began walking to the ballroom. Her mother had the armor ready for her. She began to put it on. "I have to defend my family people and one I love." Zoey started put on the helmet but before she did she kissed Basil's lips and gave him a snow white rose.

"It's this.  The Vorpal Sword." Basil opened a case and revealed a blade of gleaming steal.  Opals were encrusted into the blade one the flat sides.  He presented it to her like a squire would with the knight he serves.

Zoey smiled as she took the sword. Then the armor was completed. Then Zoey and her mother looked outside and saw The Red Queen. Zoey growled as she saw the Jabberwocky and gasped as she saw Oswald her beloved's best friend chained up. Zoey looked at her beloved and then at the army. She had an idea. "Let the prisoner go & we can fight." Zoey called out. The Red Queen nodded as Oswald was released. Zoey smiled. Then she went downstairs to deal with her newfound fate. To defeat the Jabberwocky and save everyone from this bloody war.

Oswald came running through the doors as everyone was coming down.  In his haste, he ran right into Basil.  The transformed hare held his friend's shoulders to steady him.
"It's okay, old boy.  You're safe here." Basil told him  The shorter man looked up, recognizing the voice.
"Basil?!  What happened to you?  You look...different." Oswald exclaimed in surprise.
"The White Queen did this, so the I could be with her daughter." his friend explained to him.

Zoey was ready to fight. She started fighting the Jabberwocky right away. Her sword was swaying with her movements. She was on top of what she could've guess an old castle ruin. It was crumbling at her feet but she knew she had to fight this beast for peace and love. The Jabberwocky looked at her "You're gonna pay for what your soulmate did..." he spit out a purple electric bolt underneath her feet. She squealed with fear. Her sword was out of reach as she was dangling from the ruins.

"No.  We can't let him get her." Basil began to run out to assist her.  But Oswald was holding him back.
Just then, the Jabberwock tried to get under her.  He lost his footing as he tried to position himself.  Accidentally, he moved the Vorpal Sword closer to his foe.

Zoey started to regain her balance as she saw the sword. She smiled as she jumped in the air. "Off with your head." she cut the Jabberwocky's head. It fell down the stairs she was on. She landed on the ground worn out but she didn't see the monster's body falling on top of her. The Red Queen smiled "Now she'll suffocate." Zoey coughed as she tried get out but the weight was too much. "Basil...help me..." she squealed weakly.
