Meg sneaked in to the rec room. Skipping classes again. She walked straight to the computers, logging on to youtube to watch some funny videos.

Aladdin didn't feel like going to classes today. Why, he couldn't say. Maybe it was because he was still a little put-off about his failed prank. This place certainly was a challenge. Or maybe it was because Claire had seemed to understand him a bit more than he had expected, and that unnerved him a little bit. Was he really that easy to read? But his thoughts were interrupted when he spotted somebody else in the rec room. It took him a moment to remember that the girl's name was Meg. He hadn't spoken to her extensively, but he had seen her in a couple of his other classes. "Hey there," he said, giving a wave as he walked over to her. "Skipping classes too?"

Meg looked up, seeing before her a darkhaired boy. A sign of recnition was knocking in her mind, had she seen this boy or heard of him? She wasn't sure, probably both. She gave a little sideways smirk. "Yeah, I find them rather dull. Some classes are okay I guess. Why are you skipping them?" She said shrugging her shoulders. "And you are??" She asked expected him to tell her his name. "I'm Megara by the way."

Aladdin shrugged. "Bored, I guess. None of the teachers seem very...well, exciting, for lack of a better word. The student body is much more interesting to me." Aladdin would always rather hang out with the students than waste time in a classroom. "I'm Aladdin. Nice to meet you." He gave a little smile.

She smiled, moving her chair a bit to make some room for him to take a seat next to her by the computer. "You sound so much like me. I don't really like grown ups telling me what to do. So where are you from?"

Aladdin smiled. "Glad to find a kindred spirit around here." Aladdin was always up for people who didn't mind causing a little trouble now and then, which was why he got along so well with people like Esmeralda and Ariel. He sat next to Meg, lacing his hands behind his head. "I'm from Greece. Bit of a long way from here, but I guess it's not too bad."

She smiled widely. "Glas to meet a fellow Greek." She said in her native language.
"So what are you? I haven't seen you around in my home island, so I doubt you are a pegasus." She asked, leaning back on her chair, crossing her leg over the other.

Aladdin's grin broadened. Despite talking with a number of people in this school, Meg was the first person he had met that was also from Greece. "I'm a satyr, actually," he replied in Greek, happy that she could speak the language too. "Hold on, give me a sec." He snapped his fingers, and the bottom half of his body went from human feet to goat hooves. "I learned that nifty little trick back home," he said, grinning again. "I've never met a pegasus shifter, though. Plenty of nymphs, though. And centaurs. Can't forget the centaurs."

She looked at his legs in awe. "Cool! Those must be really fast. I'd imagine it must be really slippery on stone floors with those hoofs. I don't know, haven't really tried it with mine." She stated giggling. "Can't really shift indoors. If I do I have to have alot of room around me." She grinned.
"Oh, I know some centaurs too. The ones I met are a little too serious for my taste. Didn't get a prank when they saw one. But haven't really met nymphs or satyrs before."

"Yeah, plus there's the noise factor," Aladdin said. "Hard to be quiet when you've got hooves clopping around. They're better on grass or forests." Of course, there wasn't much of that around the school except the park, and Aladdin hadn't gotten a chance to check that out yet. Most of his time had been spent inside. "Centaurs can be a bit serious," he agreed. "But at least they think sensibly. Most nymphs are all giggly and ditzy. They can be good if you want to have some fun, but if they start latching onto you, it's almost impossible to get away." Aladdin did enjoy the company of nymphs every once in a while (satyrs had been friends with them for centuries). But he could endure their ditzy talk for so long before he wanted to smack them in the head.

"Hmmm well the garden has grass, and then there is the park." She said trying to think of places he'd like running in. "And if you manage to sneak out of the school there are plenty of places to run in."
She made a face of disgust when he described the nymphs. "They sound like I would kick them in the guts in the first five minutes." She laughed.
"Do you know if there are any centaurs or nymphs here? Would be weird if we were the only greeks here." She laughed again.

"I'll have to do that sometime," Aladdin said, grinning. "You're welcome to join me, if you like." Meg seemed like a pretty fun person, and Aladdin was always up for fun. Especially the trouble-making kind. "Oh, you're not the only one," he said, laughing. "Most people do. But, nymphs and satyrs have been getting together for who knows how long, so I guess we just all kinda got used to it." He shrugged. "Not that I know of. But the student body is a bit big. Maybe we just haven't met any yet."

She smiled. "For sure. I got to start stretching the curfew a bit and the boundaries. I think the teachers are actually starting to believe I've stopped trying to run away." She let out an amused laugh. "I totally would have, but I want to see how the situation with the hunters ends. And beat up a few if I can." She shrugged.
"True. I think there are some sirens here, but I don't know if they speak greek." She said toughtfully. "And is it weird that I sort of feel so young here? Most people are like a hundred years or older. And don't tell me you are like five-hundred-and-ten years old!"

"Maybe we should give 'em a surprise sometime," Aladdin said, smiling. "My skills are getting rusty. I seem to be getting caught more than I remember. Or maybe the teachers are just more observant here." The two times he had tried pranking a teacher, he had ended up getting caught, and it usually put him in a sour mood whenever he thought about it. He laughed. "Nope, I'm seventeen, through and through." It had surprised him to find out how many other students here were hundreds of years old. Belle, Ariel, Flynn, they were all a lot older than they appeared. And it could be a little disconcerting sometimes.

Meg raised her hand up for a high five. "I'm seventeen too." She grinned widely.
"And I know, I seem to get caught at one point or another. Usually they inform my mother that I ran off and she comes after me with a lasso to drag me back." She shook her head. "And that woman doesn't hold back with me." She gave a soft cuhuckle, though the subject wasn't really that funny.

Aladdin laughed. "Seems like we're similar in more ways then one," he said, high-fiving her. They were both from Greece, they hated authority, they were the age they actually looked. Aladdin practically felt like he had found a kindred soul. He winced at the mention of a lasso. That sounded a bit extreme to him, but then again, it was the fastest way to catch a horse. Or Pegasus, in Meg's case. "Is your mom a Pegasus shape shifter like you?" he asked.

Meg nodded bitterly. "Yeah, she says I get my nature from my father. He took off before I was born. Though some people say mom was just like me when she was younger, so I guess she knows all the tricks in the book." She said shrugging her shoulders, and smiling.
"How about your old folks at home? Are they as fun limited as mine?" She asked laughing.

"Oh." Another person with a bad family history. At least Meg wasn't alone in that. Aladdin had heard stuff like that from a number of students here. "I guess you could say that," he replied. "My dad is all for a prank or two, but apparently, I was going a bit too far for him. He sent me over here when I started getting into trouble with human police officers. Became paranoid that I would end up revealing where the satyrs lived and stuff."

She made a pouty face. "Yeah, tell me about it. You get one ride home in a police car and they lose their sense of humor." She sighed, remembering the slap she had gotten when the police had brought her home for underaged drinking.
She then spread a smirk on her lips. "Sooo want to prank someone with me?"

Aladdin grinned back at her. "It would be my pleasure, miss," he said, bending over at the waist in a little bow. Pranking was fun and all, but it was a lot more exciting when you were doing it with somebody else. Plus, getting caught wasn't as bad if you were caught along with a friend.

"Yay. So any ideas? We could always string something up at the cafeteria. Like between meals." She said, starting to think what they could do there that would affect as many people as possible. "Or if you have a target in mind."

Aladdin shrugged. "I don't have anyone in mind, really. Everyone's fair game, I suppose." He grinned at her suggestion. "Cafeteria sounds good. Lots of people there, if we could get the right prank, we could nail several at once."

Aladdin had to laugh. It was a simple-enough prank, but the results were sure to be hilarious if they were there to witness them. "Great!" he said enthusiastically. "One question though: Do you know where we can get a saw?" The only place Aladdin could think of was possibly the janitor's closet.

Meg smiled knowingly. "There is a tool shack in the garden. I go smoke near it sometimes. I figure the lock is really easy to pick, and if not then it would break with one of my kicks." She giggled. "Or the door would go crashing in, eitherway it would do the trick." She smirked, sitting up as she logged off the computer.
"So we do this now?"
