A stress reliever | Tag: Anyone ~ Open

After the disaster that was the Winter Wonderland Ball, Kida decided to finally venture outside of the Academy. She needed a break from school life, since it was pretty stressful; especially now with the worry of hunters lurking in the shadows. A walk in the park sounded like a stress reliever to her. Making her way down to Mystical Park, she spotted a nice patch of grass under a large oak tree. Sitting down, she crossed her legs and listened to the sounds of the wildlife; the gentle breeze, birds chirping, children playing on the playground.

Jasmine was still in a sour mood after her father's phone call, and had decided that maybe some exercise would make her feel better. But after hanging around the woods in her lion form for a while, she was still feeling a bit put off and had been sitting around in a tree for the last half hour. Talking with her father often made Jasmine feel this way, mainly because her stubborn ways often clashed with the protective nature of her dad. But, she heard footsteps approach and she looked down to see Kida sit under the very tree she was in. "Hey Kida," she called, finally smiling as she hopped down and landed on her feet, as cats always did. "What's up?"

Kida looked up, seeing a lion lounging on the tree branch above her. She smiled, knowing it was Jasmine. "Hey, Jas" she said, propping herself up properly; since she had slouched against the trunk of the tree. "Nothing really. I just wanted to escape for a while... what about you?" she asked noticing Jasmine didn't seem as happy as she usually was; but she didn't want to pry.

"Eh, same here I guess," Jasmine replied, sitting down beside Kida. "Everyone's still uber-jumpy ever since the ball and stuff. It just ticks me off more than anything else." She sighed. "But I guess they're working on making the school's defenses better and stuff. All the teachers have been pretty busy."

"Yeah, I've noticed" she sighed. Kida probably could have helped with the shield, since her powers always seemed to drift more towards the defensive side of things. However, Alidia seemed to have it all under control. "I wish I could have helped out more" she frowned. Her skills in combat and self-defense seemed to have gone downhill since she left Atlantis. She then shrugged, "but whatever. We don't need to dwell in that" she sighed. "I heard there was going to be some sort of carnival soon, right?" she turned to Jasmine.

"You and me both," Jasmine agreed. "I wanted to claw Asami's eyes out. She deserves it." Jasmine was still feeling bitter over Asami treating her like a friend earlier, than practically stabbing her in the back at the ball. She still wanted to make her pay. "Yup, that's what I heard," she replied. "I guess they wanted to try and make it up to us after the ball was kind of a flop. No doubt Ariel and Belle will be excited now that they've got boys on their arms." She grinned.

"There's always a next time" she smirked, "and I'd be happy to help out" she kicked a rock near her foot in annoyance; you don't just stab someone in the stomach and think you can get away with it. "She's officially on my hit list" she added. "Oh, great. Hopefully it'll be more exciting" she said, "ah. I heard about Flynn and Belle" Kida smiled, she hadn't met Flynn, but if he had won Belle over, then he must be a decent guy. "And what about you? Any boys caught your eye yet?" she asked curiously.

"Sweet. I'm sure everyone from the prom committee will want to help with this carnival and stuff." Jasmine herself would definitely be part of that. She loved helping set up for events. "Mmm, not yet," she replied. "There seems to be less boys than usual. Maybe they all ran off." She laughed. "What about you? You and Aladdin seemed to be hanging out a bit at the ball."

"If you need more recruits for the prom committee, let me know" she smiled, "I'd be happy to help out." Kida laughed, "I noticed that too... maybe they're all hiding or something too. Who knows" she smirked. "Yeah, I think I'd like to get to know Aladdin better" she smiled, "but I don't know. He seems more the... 'player' type to me" she shrugged and let out a small chuckle.

"Awesome. The more, the merrier." The prom committee always liked new recruits. The more people, the better, in their opinion. "Well, he is a class clown. I guess that comes with the territory. But hey, maybe he'll finally get his head out of the clouds and settle for just one girl rather than several. Who knows?" She shrugged.

Kida started plucking bits of the grass near her legs and nodded, "I suppose so" she smiled. "Well, I've only really talked to him in drama and at the dance, so I guess I should get to know him better before I start making a judgement of him" she smirked and threw the plucked bits of grass away. She looked at Jasmine, completely forgetting that she was still in her lion form. "So do you have any brothers or sisters?" she asked curiously, wondering whether they attended the Academy or not; if she had any for that matter.

walking along the park with her ring on she was singing to herself like always cause of her hyper self. "do do, dee dee." she twirled around holding Jim's ring tightly "Look at all the petty little colors." . Stopping Kida and jasmine she smiled brightly "Jasmine!" she cheered speeding over towards her, ariel tackled her to the ground "Hi." she smiled holding her tightly. remembering Jim needed a day light ring she got up helping jasmine to her feet "hehe sorry, Hey kida." she said turning around to face her holding out the ring "Jim's now a.. well vampire." not the right thing to say "i'll tell you why but he needs a day light ring could you bless this for him seeing as your a very powerful witch."

Jasmine shook her head. "Nope. I'm an only child. But it's not like I'm starving for companionship back home or anything. My dad's the leader of lion shapeshifter pride, so all of us are like one big family, in a way. Plus, I always have my friends here." Personally, Jasmine wished she could stay with her friends at school all the time rather than go back home. She always felt more at ease here. Her thoughts were interrupted when another person joined them, Ariel to be exact. And it seemed like she was in an excited mood. She practically tackle-hugged Jasmine, turning them into a pile of red hair and golden fur. "Hey there, Ariel," she said, laughing. Although her laughter faded when Ariel stated that Jim was a vampire now. "Wait, what?" she asked, shifting back to her human form. "When did this happen?" Jasmine wasn't against the idea, it just seemed a bit sudden. She hoped Ariel and Jim hadn't rushed into this decision.

"I am too" Kida smiled before flinching slightly as Ariel came out of no where and tackled Jasmine into a hug. "Hey, Ariel" she smiled before raising her eyebrows in surprise. "Jim's a vampire?" she asked, shocked. She took the ring and looked at it for a moment, not understanding how she was supposed to bless it or something along those lines. "I've never done that before" she hesitated, feeling unsure. She kept the ring in the palm of her hand, folding her fingers over it. She focused on it for a moment as the other two sorted out the whole 'Jim is now a vampire' factor. She closed her eyes, letting the energy flow from her and into the ring. Opening her eyes, she rubbed her thumb over the ring for a moment as she glanced around.
