Helping out (tag: Eli)

Kitty had to help Eli get a suit that suited for him otherwise he would wear regular clothes to Winter Ball. Kitty waited outside for him and looked around for him.

Jim walked down to Willow's Wardrobe, with a bored expression on his face. Kitty had offered to help him find a suit, but it didn't mean he actually wanted one. He spotted her waiting outside and nodded at her as a way of saying hello. "Let's just get this over with" he grumbled and opened the door to the clothing store

Kitty said with a smile, "Relax after all you are taking a certain redhead to the Winter Ball." Kitty saw a silk black tuxedo and asked as she searched for his sizes, "What size are you? Besides it's all on me."

"Am I? I hadn't asked any one yet..." he raised an eyebrow before shrugging it off. He glanced at the tuxedo she was looking at and shrugged. "A medium I guess... thanks" he smiled and flicked through the rack before letting her pick.

Kitty picked out a medium tuxedo and asked curiously, "You didn't ask Ari to the Ball yet? She told me she wants y..." Kitty gasped and covered her mouth as she spilled the beans.

Jim raised both of his eyebrows with a confused expression when she gasped. He sighed with a small frown. If he asked Ariel to the Winter Ball, then Alidia and Gwen's feelings would be hurt. If they even wanted to go with him. Maybe it would be better if he went alone. "I don't know... I still need to think about it" he mumbled before taking the tuxedo in her hands and walking over to the changing rooms.

Kitty sat outside and sighed as she said with a frown, "Me and my big mouth..."

He put it on before reluctantly pulling back the curtains to show Kitty. "So...?" he looked down at himself and held his arms out, waiting for her opinion.

Kitty looked up and said with a grin, "Wow, you look good in a tux. Even Ari will be impressed." Kitty loosened the black tie and said with a grin, "Now you look good."

"Thanks" he mumbled and looked down as she loosened the tie. "When is this Winter Ball anyway?" he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms with a sulking pout. "I hate dances" he grumbled.

Kitty said a grin, "It's on December 20th. Oh if you wanna avoid dancing take a girl to a romantic view and complement her every now and then."

Jim rolled his eyes, "yeah thanks. That's not what I meant" he pulled the curtains back again and quickly got changed out of the tux and into his normal clothes. He hung the tux over his arm and went to pay for it before carrying his bag over to her. "I'm not trying to impress anyone. I just wanna get this stupid ball over with" he grumbled.

Kitty side kicked his butt and shook her head as she growled in frustration.

"Ow! Hey! What was that for?" he looked at her quickly with a frown. "I bought the tux, didn't I? Jesus" he cussed under his breath and ran a hand through his hair quickly.

Kitty said in frustration, "It's for being such a guy. Ariel really likes you and to her it's a big deal. Plus if I find out you hurt her feelings in anyway, I will phase you to the center of the earth."

"Ooo, I'm so scared!" he mocked her and raised his hands before chuckling. "Look, I do what I want, alright? Besides, I never said I wasn't going to ask her. I'm just unsure" he shrugged.

Kitty put her hands on his shoulders and phased him down and stopped at his neck. Kitty asked with her arms crossed, "You were saying?"

"What the fuck!?" his eyes widened. "Get me out... now" he glared up at her. "Don't you think this is a little insane?" he sighed and blew his bangs out of his face.

Kitty phased her hands and grabbed his shoulders as she pulled him out. Kitty said seriously, "It's a warning. Ariel is my BFF and I'm gonna look out for her. She understands me just as I understand her."

Jim rolled his eyes again. He couldn't help it, it was almost second nature. "Yeah, yeah. I know she's got some close friends who wanna protect her. I never said I was gonna hurt her either, so can we drop the conversation?" he sighed and glanced at her.

Kitty sighed and said with a smile, "Now that's off my chest. Sorry I phased ya but I had to set an example."

Jim looked at her, "yeah I realised" he mumbled and crossed his arms. "So are we gonna leave now?" he asked.

Kitty said with a grin, "You can leave I got some dress shopping to do. Oh and good luck."

"Alright" he shrugged, "see ya later" he smirked and waved before walking out of the store and towards the academy.
