Stretching My Claws Out (Tag Anyone)

Jasmine took a deep breath, the smell of flowers and fresh, open air filling her lungs. Yes, this was definitely good. Of course, it was different from her home back in Kenya. The air here in Italy was a bit more damp, richer. The air back in Kenya was mainly dry and made you want to carry a water bottle with you at all times. But Jasmine never minded it. Growing up there, she had gotten used to it. But she was liking this environment as well. At least there was a lot of open space, and that was what she wanted right now. She went down to her knees, her palms against the brown soil. In less than a second, she was in her lion form. "Now this is fancy living," she said to herself as she flopped onto her back, her tail twitching underneath her.

Chel walked out into the park loving the fresh air more than being stuck inside all the time. She stopped walking when she noticed a lion and raised an eyebrow. "Jasmine?" She asked hesitantly knowing it was a shape-shifter and she remembered Jasmine saying something about changing into the lion. She moved closer and sat down on the grass looking at the lion for a moment. She averted her gaze to the ground looking at the plants still wondering how she could get better at helping them grow.

Rapunzel went for a wander, to get some fresh air from being stuck in school all day and all night. Eventually making it to a park, she spotted two students who she had seen around the school before but never really interacted with. She walked over and smiled before noticing one of them had transformed into a lion. "Wow!" she exclaimed and leaned closer to get a better look. She straightened up and slightly waved at them, "hey" she greeted them before turning around and pulling on her hair to collect it up in case someone stepped on it. She turned back to them and watched with a chuckle as the lion flopped onto her back, her tail twitching.

Following what appeared to be Rapunzel's hair, Esmeralda was lead outside and over to the park, where she found Rapunzel, Chel and a lion. She raised an eyebrow before walking over and placing her hands on her hips. "Oh! Jasmine, right?" she grinned, remembering her mentioning she could shape shift to a lioness. "Awesome" she smiled and moved to sit down on the grass.

Jasmine looked up at the sound of voices and was surprised to find Chel, Rapunzel, and Esmeralda nearby. Sweet, she thought. "Hey guys!" she said, getting onto her feet as her tail swished. Luckily, they all seemed to recognize her after hearing her talk so much about her lion form. "Here to enjoy the great outdoors with me?" she asked.

"Yeah, you bet" Esmeralda grinned and started plucking stray bits of grass. Leaning forward, she sighed, "it's nice to not be at school" she rolled her eyes. "It's so confined and suffocating" she mumbled and brought her knees up, wrapping her arms around them.

Chel turned seeing Rapunzel followed by Esme making her smile. "Hey." She chuckled and turned her attention back to Jasmine. "Yea! I don't like to be stuck indoors." She rolled her eyes with a chuckle and nodded her head in agreement with Esme. "Tell me about it!" She chuckled and looked down at the grass "Fresh air will do some good." She smiled and looked at Jasmine. "I see you are enjoying your time out here...but who wouldn't?" She chuckled as she averted her eyes to the sky. "Especially with a day like this." She smirked and slumped her back onto the ground.

Eric walked towards the park after his and Ariel's hunting 'adventure'. Moving his hands into his pant pockets, he spotted a few students from school. He looked around the park, not seeing many people there besides the girls. He decided to walk over and introduce himself. He needed to meet new people. He put on a friendly smile and hesitantly walked over. "Hey" he gave a short nod and smiled. "I'm Eric..." he glanced over his shoulder and looked at the Academy before looking down at the lioness, assuming she was a shape shifting student.

Chel turned her head seeing a man walking towards them. She sat up and rested her hands on her knees that were slightly bent. "Hey." She grinned and raised an eyebrow when he glanced over his shoulder to look at the Academy. She shrugged and followed his gaze towards the lion as she breathed a chuckle before looking back at him. "I'm Chel." She smirked "What brings you here?" She raised her eyebrows and rested the palm of her hands on the ground as she leaned back a bit. "Fresh air...I am guess." She chuckled,looking up at the sky while enjoying the warm breeze.

Eric smiled at Chel, "nice to meet you." He looked up at the sky as she did, "a bit of everything. Fresh air, boredom and I need space from my brother" he rolled his eyes. "He's a bit controlling to say the least" he chuckled and crossed his arms. "So what are you ladies doing out here?" he asked, raising his eyebrows inquisitively.

Esme looked up at Eric and smiled, "hey, I'm Esmeralda" she introduced herself before sitting up and shrugging. "Just relaxing I guess, like Chel said, getting some fresh air" she chuckled and glanced at Chel before smiling.

Jasmine smiled as she rolled onto her back again, a breeze making her nose twitch. Scents always seemed more prominent when she was a lion, something she liked when going outdoors. She looked up when she heard someone approaching. Oddly enough, it was a dude. Well, let's hope he doesn't mind hanging out with a bunch of girls, she thought. "I'm Jasmine," she said before shifting back into her human form. "Yeah, what they said. Just enjoying the outdoors. You're welcome to join us, if you want." She ran a hand through her hair as she laid down on the grass.

Chel looked back at Jasmine and chuckled "I still find it amazing how shape-shifters....look completely different when they aren't in their human form." She grinned and crawled over to Jasmine. Hesitantly, she reached her hand out to touch her fur before deciding against it as she rested it in her lap. "How is it like anyways? Like....are your sense completely different?" She raised an eyebrow and moved to lay down on her stomach.

Eric smiled at the girls. It was strange being around them. Especially attractive ones at that. Most of his life, the only person he had known was his older brother. So he wasn't really used to interacting with other people. He nodded at Jasmine's offer. He didn't really have anything better to do. He hadn't seen many male students around yet anyway. He glanced at Chel when she asked Jasmine about being a shape shifter, "it would be normal for you, wouldn't it? Because you've grown up as a shape shifter, so it's pretty much your natural instinct" he added quickly, not meaning to interrupt. He leaned against the nearby tree with his arms crossed.

Chel turned her head when Eric spoke and looked back at Jasmine. "Oh...of course." She chuckled and glanced at the grass. "I guess I am just wayy to curious on creatures that aren't...well...like me.." She rolled her eyes with a grin "Especially since I've only really been around sorcerers and humans." She sighed and lightly traced shapes on the ground as she kicked her feet up. She began swinging them back and forth as she continued to look down at the grass before sitting up. She looked around for something that would catch her eye and stood. She grabbed her bag and placed it on her shoulder as she looked around for something to take a picture of. She needed somethings to cover up the wall in her dorm.

"Totally different," Jasmine replied, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "You can smell better, hear better, run faster. My family always jokes and says that I should just turn into a lion permanently and join a pride somewhere." She gave a laugh. "But I guess the only downside is that turning into animals is the only mystical quality shapeshifters have. Meanwhile, we've got other people that can do a hundred spells, walk through walls, all kinds of stuff."

Chel stopped and turned to looked at Jasmine. She raised her eyebrows and chuckled "I wonder how that will turn out...living with a bunch of lions permanently...that would be pretty funny." She grinned. "I don't consider that as a downside...I mean the qualities of a shape-shifter is crazy...with the claws and all...sure, you can't do spells and all...but who cares?" She shrugged with a chuckle "Besides, you can really get good scares from that." She grinned and continued to look around for something that catches her eyes.

Rapunzel listened to their conversations before quickly growing distracted by the piles of fallen leaves, that were screaming to be jumped in. She looked down at her hair, knowing she would get stuff in it. She shrugged it off before running over and kicking a few leaves, jumping into some piles of fallen leaves and then picking one up, twirling it in her hand as she looked at the different aspects of nature.

Eric glanced at Jasmine, "everyone's different" he shrugged. "I would much rather be a shape shifter than a vampire" he sighed and rubbed the side of his neck. "At least you can enjoy the sun and not have to worry about killing innocent people to survive" he breathed out a chuckle, though he didn't find the thought very amusing. He was just glad it was overcast today. Though, he had the tree to protect him from the sun anyway. He looked up at the leaves before glancing back down at the girls.

Jasmine laughed. "Good point. It sure is a way to draw attention at a party." Of course, Jasmine always felt a bit weird when shifting indoors. Hallways and rooms with walls was no place for a lion. "Oh, right," she said, noting that Eric did have a point. Vampires had to constantly worry about their thirst. Shapeshifters only had to worry about their animal sides when they were young, and not all of them shifted into dangerous animals. "Well, you seem pretty in control now," she pointed out.
